The Role: Podcast & Video Design Editor

We’re scouting for a Podcast & Video Editor – a wizard behind the screen, an orchestrator of audible and video magic. Weaving mastery over sound and vision, you’re the one who can transform a raw conversation into a captivating masterpiece. You’re not only editing; you’re crafting a narrative that inches our voice above the fray, turning listeners into devoted followers for both our in-house Podcast Marketing in The Madness and our client’s video and podcast content.

 

Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It

Audio Wizardry & Visual Artistry

· Edit audio and video podcast episodes to sound and look absolutely celestial while resonating with depth and clarity.

· Employ your colour grading powers to give our video content a vibrancy that matches our brand’s spirit.

· Create video reels and social clips that don’t just capture but captivate—seizing attention and igniting curiosity.

 

Creative Communication & Craftsmanship

· Finesse your technique for collaboration, ensuring seamless integration with the rest of the marketing team.

· Make daringly creative calls that elevate our content way above the “standard”.

· Take the reins on designing, formatting, and animating, pushing motion graphics to unknown territories.

Experience, Qualifications & Knowledge

· A prodigy of podcasting, with 3-5 years of conjuring excellence in both audio and video production landscapes.

· Portfolio prowess is essential—show us your conquests that spun the ordinary into auditory and visual gold.

Technique & Innovation

· Motion graphics and graphic design are the tools of your trade, bringing audio and video to extraordinary life.

· Proficiency in cutting and splicing that’s as sharp as your intuitive sense for storytelling.

Transcription & Transformation

· Experience in transcribing the spoken word (or using tools) capturing every nuance for accessibility and engagement.

· A bonus grasp of graphic design enables you to weave visual elements that bind listeners and viewers alike – if you are able to adopt our guidelines and create additional socially designed assets – that would be a BIG PLUS!
