Monshur’s 5 top tips on How to build a business model that gives back…

  1. Empower your team to give back
At WeAgile we offer 2 paid days (both for perm and freelance staff) to go and volunteer at a charity of their choice. Its a great way to connect with the community and for us to get a sense of what causes are important to our team.
  2. Give back locally with your expertise
One of the initiatives we have is providing pro bono support to grassroot charities. Our teams work with 3 charities a years to redesign their website and help to optimise their SEO. We also run free marketing workshops for charities to help develop their inhouse skills.
  3. Fundraising
Every year we choose to partner with a charity to help support them fundraise. This year we have been supporting MS UK. We have ran multiple races as a team to not only raise donations but also awareness.
  4. Be climate aware
The internet produces more carbon than the entire airline industry and as a digital agency we are very conscious of our carbon footprint. Joining organisations such as Ecologi, its a step in the right direction to help slow down the damage we’ve caused to the planet and help fund climate projects.
  5. Go the extra mile for your team
Last but not least, take care of your team. We offer free therapy sessions, were the first agency in the UK to implement the miscarriage policy, we run a hybrid model to give the freedom of where and when to work back into the hands of the team but most importantly we put them first.
