Junior Video and Podcast Editor



As a Junior Video and Podcast Editor, you will play a key role in helping to shape our in-house podcast ‘Marketing meets Tech’ and video content for both Street and our clients. You’ll be responsible for transforming raw footage and audio into engaging, high-quality content that captivates our audiences across multiple platforms. This role is perfect for a creative individual with a keen eye for detail, storytelling, and some technical expertise in video and podcast production. Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It…

Audio & Video Editing Mastery

  • Edit and enhance podcast episodes, ensuring high-quality audio with clear, professional sound.
  • Edit video content, including long-form episodes, reels, and social media clips, maintaining brand consistency.
  • Utilise colour grading techniques to elevate video quality and maintain an aesthetic consistent with the brand you are working with.
  • Craft short-form content that captures attention and drives audience engagement.

Creative Production & Studio Management

  • Assist with setting up and managing the recording studio and equipment.
  • Support the team with capturing both video and audio content in-studio and on location at events.
  • Working with current workflows and find new ways to streamline processes and deliver exceptional content in a timely manner.

Graphic Design & Motion Graphics

  • Support the creation of visual assets, including thumbnails, title screens, and branding elements.
  • Utilise basic motion graphics and graphics templates to enhance storytelling and create engaging visual effects.

Content Repurposing & Optimisation

  • Transcribe podcast episodes (or utilise tools) to create captions and written content for accessibility.
  • Repurpose content into social media-friendly formats to maximise reach and engagement.
  • Optimise audio and video files for different platforms, ensuring high-quality playback.

Collaboration & Innovation

  • Work closely with the marketing team and campaign success team to align content with branding and messaging for both Street and our clients.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and suggest innovative content ideas. Experiment with new AI tools and editing techniques to streamline production.

Technical Skills & Tools

Experience, Qualifications & Knowledge

  • 1-3 years of experience in video and audio editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, or similar editing software.
  • Some experience with colour grading, sound mixing, and motion graphics.
  • Strong storytelling skills with an understanding of pacing and audience engagement.
  • Experience in setting up cameras, lighting, and audio equipment for recordings would be beneficial.
  • A basic grasp of graphic design principles is a plus.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices for video content distribution.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for content creation.
