As a Digital Marketing Assistant you will predominantly work on the Digital Marketing function of our newly launched solution, Tanba (The Agency New Business Academy). From social media and email campaigns to website and SEO improvements, you will work with the team to deliver marketing campaigns to help get the company’s voice heard and attract more followers with the aim of building a database of potential members.

Core objective
Your core objective will be to work on the Digital Marketing of Tanba as well as occasionally helping the Street team with marketing campaigns. You are responsible for making sure Tanba’s value proposition is always represented in our campaign strategies and comms, as well as crafting and delivering the content for these with the support of the rest of the team.

Primary:
Content Calendar
Create a content calendar and use Content Cal to schedule social media posts
Social Media posts
Create the content and design assets and regularly post across our social media channels – LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook
Design Asset Creation / Blog / Videos / Social Media output
Delivering assets and collateral for our own marketing
Social Media reporting
Analyse which posts are driving traffic and what content is most relevant to our audience to help with future content plans
Website
Upload blog posts and new landing pages, and work on ideas to improve the SEO of the website
Google Analytics
Use Google Analytics to report back to the company and help analyse performance and improve future traffic to the website
Secondary:
Content Creation
Write the copy for email campaigns and blogs for our website, as well as relevant new landing pages to drive traffic
Training & Events
Help the team when necessary with organising training and events for the company
Marketing Automation
Learn how to use the Marketing Automation software to help the team when sending out campaigns
Responsibilities and Activities

- To interact with our audience on social media e.g. likes, comments, shares
- To keep up to date with the latest social media trends
- To research the correct hashtags for social media posts
- To suggest SEO recommendations for our website and implement the changes
- To analyse Google Analytics and use this to recommend website updates
- To meticulously update plans and campaign documentation
- To create written content
- To complete desk research and planning work where required
- To produce contact reports/notes and follow up emails as required
- To create strong relationships with the team
